TEAMGROUP has achieved global recognition for its T-CREATE EXPERT P34F Find My External SSD, earning the prestigious Japan Good Design Award 2025.
Team Group Inc., a global leader in memory solutions, announced today that its T-CREATE EXPERT P34F Find My External SSD has been honored with the Japan Good Design Award 2025. This recognition comes just two months after the product’s September 2025 launch, highlighting the rapid industry acknowledgment of its innovative approach to data security.

The T-CREATE EXPERT P34F marks a significant shift in the portable storage industry, being the world’s first external SSD with built-in Apple Find My integration. Unlike traditional storage devices that rely on external accessories for tracking, TEAMGROUP’s patented technology enables seamless location tracking without additional hardware.
In this drive, there is a built-in speaker that emits sound alerts within a 40-meter range and supports location tracking through Apple’s Find My network. This innovation addresses a critical pain point for creators and professionals who frequently transport valuable data across multiple locations.
Award-Winning Design Philosophy
Established in 1957, the Japan Good Design Award stands as one of the world’s most influential design recognitions, evaluating products based on innovation, aesthetics, social value, and long-term sustainability. The T-CREATE EXPERT P34F’s victory demonstrates how functional innovation can seamlessly integrate with lifestyle aesthetics.
This flash drive has a tiny form factor, smaller than a credit card, and weighs just 70 grams. This is achieved with a 73% zinc alloy composition. It makes this drive
Market Impact
Beyond its tracking capabilities, the P34F delivers robust performance specifications. The device supports a USB 3.2 Gen2x1 interface with Type-C connectivity, achieving transfer speeds of up to 1,000 MB/s for reading and 900 MB/s for writing. Available in 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities, it maintains compatibility across Windows, macOS, and Thunderbolt systems.
The timing of this recognition coincides with significant growth in the global asset tracking market, which is projected to expand from $25.98 billion in 2025 to $59.64 billion by 2032, at a CAGR of 12.6%. TEAMGROUP’s innovation positions the company at the forefront of this convergence between traditional storage and modern tracking technology.
Industry Recognition
This latest accolade adds to TEAMGROUP’s impressive 2025 award collection, which includes the Taiwan Excellence Award for their T-CREATE MASTER DDR5 AI Workstation Memory and the COMPUTEX 2025 Best Choice Award for their sustainable gaming memory solutions.
The device incorporates patented technologies protected under Taiwan utility patent (No. M663508) and China utility patent (No. CN 223108540 U), demonstrating TEAMGROUP’s significant investment in research and development.
Key Issues with the Drive
TEAMGROUP claims approximately one year of battery life for the CR2032 battery. However, actual performance may vary significantly based on usage patterns and environmental conditions. Unlike simple consumer devices, replacing the CR2032 battery in the P34F requires disassembling the drive’s zinc alloy casing, which can be tough for some users. There is no battery level indicator. Additionally, there are thermal issues, along with several other problems.
But this award was for the design elements of the drive, along with its weight and durability. It totally deserves this appreciation for that.
